About me

P Raghavendra Rao is a former IAS officer (1977 Batch – Assam Meghalaya Cadre). After leaving the service, he has been actively involved in coaching and guiding aspirants to Union and State Civil Services and for careers in the government. Scores of his trainees are now in various positions in All India, Central and State civil services. He has a passion for teaching specially  Indian history, Indian  Polity and Sociology. With his vast experience in administration and classroom guidance for competitive examinations, he has now brought  out this introductory   test series for the benefit of candidates preparing for various competitive exams.

About the Test Series

This introductory test series on Indian polity and Constitution and Modern Indian History is designed to help candidates preparing for competitive exams for entry into
the government, namely UPSC Civil Services prelims exam, State Civil Services Prelims and  Staff Selection Commission  &RRB etc. Indian Polity and Constitution
and Modern Indian History are  modules on which questions are frequently asked in these exams.

The test series is structured as follows

  • Topic wise tests with answers and  explanations wherever needed
  • Previous years questions on the topic with answers and 
    explanations (We have taken the UPSC Prelims Tests as a standard)
  • Workbooks on Indian Polity and Constitution and Modern Indian History which we are sure you will find useful (Workbooks can be accessed after completing any topic-wise test)

It is believed that in course of becoming a civil servant, the journey is more satisfying and exciting than the destination. At Rao’s coaching centre, this journey for me, is being very enriching and enjoyable. It is a pride for me to be learning from Rao sir, who is a retired IAS Officer himself. Sir comes with deep expertise in the subjects along with hands-on experience in the field.
